13 Best Mother’s Day Gifts for Las Vegas Moms Who Love Cannabis

Where would we be without our mothers?

The answer is “nowhere.” We wouldn’t even exist!

And we only have one day to show our mothers how much we care about them?

Doesn’t seem like enough.

But if one day is all we got, let’s milk it for all it’s worth.

How Mother’s Day Became Mother’s Day

How Mother’s Day Became Mother’s DayBefore the Civil War, West Virginian native Ann Reeves Jarvis started the Mothers’ Day Work Clubs to help teach local women how to care for their children.

Ann Reeves Jarvis also had a daughter: Anna Jarvis.

After her mother’s death, Anna Jarvis came up with the idea of Mother’s Day as a way of honoring the contributions and sacrifices that mothers make on behalf of their children.

Jarvis got financial backing from John Wanamaker, a Philadelphia department store owner. She organized the first Mother’s Day celebration at a West Virginia Methodist church in May 1908.

One of Wanamaker’s retail stores also held a Mother’s Day celebration, and thousands of people attended.

But that wasn’t enough for Jarvis. She wanted to see the holiday added to the national calendar.

She started a massive letting writing campaign to newspapers and influential politicians, asking them to adopt the new holiday.

Finally, she won her cause in 1914. President Woodrow Wilson signed a measure that officially established the second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day.

Here are the 13 best Mother’s Day gifts for Las Vegas moms who love cannabis!

Las Vegas Cannabis Strain Gifts For Mother’s Day

Everybody likes getting flowers. But don’t just settle for giving Mom a standard bouquet of roses and tulips.
Get her the kind of flower you can smoke! Here are three strains that she’s likely to love.

1. Blue Dream

Blue Dream is a classic – nay, legendary — West Coast strain, and an indica-dominant hybrid that’s great for beginners and experienced users alike. It’s got a sweet, blueberry taste to it and is gentle, not too overpowering.

The THC level is around 22-26% which creates a nice, balanced, therapeutic blend of cerebral invigoration and energy combined with calming, relaxing body effects.

For the mom that’s stressed, depressed, in pain, or just plain exhausted, Blue Dream is a dream come true.

2. Banana Treez

Banana Treez is a perfect strain for the mom on the go who’s struggling to balance work life, family life, and everything in between.

Like Blue Dream, this is a hybrid, but it leans slightly towards the sativa side of life.

Mom will feel energized, creative, and ready to take on some new projects, but she’ll also stay relaxed and happy enough that life’s rough edges won’t feel as rough as they used to.

3. Sour Banana Sherbet

We’ll keep this banana theme going and end on Sour Banana Sherbet.

SBS is a sativa-leaning hybrid. Mom will enjoy its tangy aroma mixed with the taste of banana, wild berries, and diesel. Relaxation and euphoria are soon to follow.

We recommend Sour Banana Sherbet for use after a workday or if she’s still working but needs to take her stress level down a few notches.

4. Wyld Gummies

Wyld Gummies

Wyld Gummies hail from the Pacific Northwest region, and their fruit flavors reflect that.

These beautifully crafted gummies come in origami packaging and feature the following flavors:

  • Raspberry – Sativa gummies that give you a burst of energy, readying you for daytime activities
  • Huckleberry – Hybrid gummies that offer euphoria and an overall mellowed-out feeling
  • Marionberry – Indica gummies that will put you to sleep and keep you there for a long while. If Mom suffers from insomnia, she probably won’t be suffering from it much longer after one of these!

Las Vegas Topical Gifts for Mother’s Day

Sometimes, you just want that healing power of cannabis to be soaked directly into your skin.

Which totally works because your skin loves cannabis as much as your brain does!

Here are some topical products that Mom might like to try.

5. Nordic Goddess Body Balm

If Ma can’t make it to the spa, here’s the next best thing: Nordic Goddess Body Balm.

It contains a 1:1 ratio of THC and CBD along with a unique mix of plant extracts and healing herbs.

Other ingredients include shea butter, tropical coconut oil, and cocoa butter. This is a powerful medication for inflammation and pain relief that also moisturizes and rejuvenates your skin.

Most impressive of all, Nordic Goddess Body Balm uses the ever-popular NXT nano-eXtraction Technology to reduce the cannabinoids down to the molecular level, which in turn maximizes the level of absorption.

6. Dixie Bath Soak 1:1

Who doesn’t like a nice, long, soak session in a bath? And if Mom is ready for that, she’s ready for the Dixie 1:1 Bath Soak.

After a tiring day at the office, gym, or just watching over the kids, muscle soreness and tension can start to build up.

The Dixie Bath Soak, which contains CO2-extracted THC and CBD, can help reduce all that soreness and tension. It’s also formulated with rosemary, lavender, and cedar wood, creating a topical therapy that feels good, smells good, and does good!

Las Vegas Cannabis Storage Gifts for Mother’s Day

Keeping your cannabis products fresh and potent can be an ongoing challenge, especially if you don’t have the proper storage tools.

Mom deserves only the freshest medicine. In most cases, that means not leaving flower inside the original container once it’s open.

Here are some storage solutions to help Mom’s cannabis look fresh, smell fresh, stay fresh, and maintain its potency.

7. Mason jars

Mason Jars

Mason jars are a common staple for cannabis storage. They’re vacuum-sealable, and you can get them in bulk at a pretty reasonable price.

Be sure to get opaque Mason jars so that they’ll prevent light from entering.

You can get Mason jars at department stores like Walmart, Target, Home Depot, or your local home supply store.

8. Boveda Humidity Packs

Boveda Humidity Packs

It’s pretty dry here in Vegas, and if it takes Mom a long time to work her way through her flower, she’s going to need more than a Mason jar to keep things fresh.

So hook her up with some Boveda humidity packs. They work by absorbing excess moisture or emitting additional moisture to help your cannabis flower stay at an optimal relative humidity level. For reference, the best RH level for cannabis is between 59% and 63%.

You can get these packs either from Amazon or your local smoke shop.

9. MIRA Lunch Jar

The quality of cannabinoids in edibles can be affected by things like heat, air, and moisture.

If Mom is going to be traveling with her edibles in tow, consider getting her the MIRA Food Jar. This 13.5 oz vacuum-sealed container is leak-proof and can keep food cold for 10 hours or hot for 5 hours.

Plus, it’s built with durable, food-grade stainless steel that won’t break, rust or retain or transfer flavors.

10. MIRA Water Bottle

MIRA Water Bottle

Is Mom a fan of THC- or CBD-infused beverages like EpiQ Water or CannaPunch? She may want an additional something to protect those cannabis-based drinks from that harsh Vegas sun.

Luckily, MIRA also makes a vacuum-insulated water bottle as well. It keeps beverages cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours.
